Temperature-Controlled Radiofrequency for Severe Nasal Airway Obstruction: A Non-Inferiority Comparison With Surgical Intervention

A recent multicenter study published in International Forum of Allergy & Rhinology found that temperature-controlled radiofrequency (TCRF) offers clinical results non-inferior to traditional surgery for nasal airway obstruction, but with significantly fewer side effects. Findings show that TCRF patients experienced a 90.5% success rate and a median recovery time of just one day, supporting it as an effective, minimally invasive alternative to the operating room.
